MTB Family’s Charitable Food and Ceremonial Donation of Funds

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Myanma Tourism Bank (MTB) carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by visiting and donating to Yangon Mental Health Hospital.

This meaningful social impact activity was attended by MTB’s Members of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, senior executives, and staff members. During the visit, the hospital’s administrative team and medical professionals provided a detailed briefing on the hospital’s background, the current condition of patients, ongoing mental health rehabilitation programs, and the challenges they are facing. The MTB Bank delegation listened attentively and engaged in constructive discussions on how future collaboration and support could be further strengthened.

In addition to the donation support, MTB’s senior leaders warmly met with patients, offering words of encouragement and genuine care. These heartfelt interactions created meaningful and uplifting moments for the patients, reinforcing a sense of dignity, hope, and emotional strength.

Notably, MTB Bank also purchased handicraft products handmade by the patients. These items—including knitted works, handmade decorative pieces, and practical crafts—reflect the patients’ creativity, resilience, and determination. By supporting their products, MTB Bank not only recognized their talents but also contributed to enhancing their confidence and sense of self-worth as part of their rehabilitation journey.

Invisible wounds can sometimes run deep. However, understanding, patience, a warm smile, and a supportive hand can play a powerful role in rebuilding inner strength. MTB remains committed not only to driving economic development but also to contributing positively to the well-being of the community through continued social responsibility initiatives.

We are pleased to share the warm moments, smiles, and rays of hope from that day through the photos in this post. 🤍

Cultivating Blessings: A Morning of Devotion at MTB Bank

To usher in auspiciousness and peace for all our valued stakeholders and the community, the Myanma Tourism Bank (MTB) family gathered at our Head Office for “Sabba Mangala Chanting and Almsgiving Ceremony”. We were deeply honored to host the Venerable Lha Yadanar Sayadaw Bhaddanta Naradabhivamsa and four other esteemed monks. Beyond the traditional offerings, the Sayadaw shared the profound history of the "Sabbha Mingalar Gatha"—tracing its roots through the Buddhist, Ceylonese, and Contemporary eras. At MTB, we believe that a foundation of mindfulness and shared merit strengthens our commitment to serving you better. May the blessings of this collective merit reach our staff, partners, and friends everywhere.

Business and spirituality go hand-in-hand in our culture. Today, the MTB Headquarters on Sule Road echoed with the harmonious voices of our team reciting the Patthana. We didn't just pray for our bank; we prayed for YOU—our old and new customers, and everyone across the nation. Highlight of the Day: Collective recitation for universal safety and a flourishing economy. May the merits of this day bring you the peace of mind to focus on your future.
