Legal Department
In the banking services of Myanma Tourism Bank, the legal department is responsible for the legal management in accordance with the laws and rules by the State. Legal management includes prevention and remediation on legal damage.
The MTB’s legal department has been established by legal professionals to ensure that the bank’s business services in accordance with the existing laws and to protect the bank’s interests.
Features of the Legal Department
- Drive Legal governance and innovation adoption within the organization.
- In accordance with the law reviewing, revising and writing NDA, MOU and Contracts of the bank.
- Providing Legal advice letters in accordance with the Law.
- Inspection of Legal Audit on the matters of credit contracts and the operational risk management process.
- Issuing lawyer Notices, Managing on Civil and Criminal Case.
- Participation as a key role in Fraud Investigation to enhancing the bank’s security capacity.
- Managing on Legal affairs, prevention of legal damage and remediation on legal damage.
- Supporting to get income from providing advice from legal aspect on business process in order to understand legal affair to business department.
- Provide training/awareness to Bank staffs to improve their legal knowledge and manage the bank’s legal risks;
- Acting with reputation as a Trustee.
