“Save Lives with Your Blood”

"Save Lives with Your Blood" On 1 April 2025, employees of the MTB Bank family rolled up their sleeves to donate blood at blood banks in Yangon and Mandalay, bringing hope to survivors of the devastating earthquake in Myanmar. During the donation process, at exactly 12:51 PM Myanmar Standard Time, a one-minute moment of silence was observed as a national tribute to mourn the tragedy. In addition to providing timely blood donations essential for the treatment of earthquake victims, MTB Bank is also making efforts to supply urgent humanitarian aid, including medicines, food, essential supplies, and rescue equipment. The bank is fully committed to ensuring that these relief materials reach the affected communities as quickly as possible.

Disaster Relief Donation

MTB Bank's CEO U Win Lwin and volunteer staff from various branches in Yangon, Mandalay, and Naypyidaw donated essential food, medicine, and supplies to flood-affected communities on September 14 and 15, 2024. The donations were made at emergency relief centers in Naypyidaw (Aung Sita School), benefiting 9,500 people from local communities, villages, and monasteries. The relief effort reached key areas in urgent need, including Kyi Inn Village, Hlay Kwin Taung, Mishi Khana Pagoda, and Takone. MTB Bank also contributed cash donations to Non-Profit and Non-Government Organizations. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), MTB Bank is committed to continuing support for disaster relief efforts in other affected areas.

The first collective blood donation event of the Myanma Tourism Bank family was held by the senior management and employees of the bank in Yangon, In "National Blood Center" and Mandalay City in Mandalay Region (2024) in the "(500) Bed Orthopedic Specialist Hospital" and as a meaningful contribution to the society. On the morning January 20th, they donated blood together.
