• Support the Manager in developing and implementing the department’s strategic plan, including objectives, KPIs, and action plans.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and evaluate market trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, industry associations, and financial institutions.
• Oversee daily departmental operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulations and internal controls.
• Monitor departmental performance, analyze results, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Manage and allocate departmental resources effectively, including budgets, staff, and operational tools.
• Lead business development initiatives to expand relationships with financial institutions.
• Manage key institutional relationships, including contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
• Represent the department in industry meetings, events, and conferences as required.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and credit risks related to financial institution activities.
